Hi! I'm Rachel Coggins and I started Coggins Creates 7 years ago with the help of my best friend, mentor and mother, Renae. With her years of experience as a highly qualified seamstress plus my hyper creative mind and blossoming sewing skills we put our heads together and started creating! The Poncho madness all started with sewing a Carseat Poncho for my Oldest Daughter at a year old and posting it on facebook... although, learning that bulky coats weren't only a pain, but hazardous to be in a carseat was a super no no. The coat on/off in and out game was stressful too! Saftey is number one so I wanted my daughter buckled in tight and warm for our freezing Michigan Temps.
